The Club was founded in 1970 and is associated to Paddle UK (the governing body for paddle sports).
Our objective:
The Club exists to promote paddle sports within the Boys' Brigade and Girls Association, and also offers occasional support to other community-based organisations.
Our aim is:
· to provide opportunities for young people to experience paddle sport and receive a safe, enjoyable paddling experience from qualified Instructors, Leaders, and Coaches.
· to be a visible, useful, and knowledgeable resource for those who wish to develop young people's interest and aptitude in paddle sports.
· to assist leaders in gaining paddle sports qualifications, enabling them to safely take young people out on the water.
Our delivery:
We offer practical guidance, taster days, training, qualification and assessment courses, and opportunities for paddling trips and expeditions.
